Photography and illustration

Photographs are quiet and scholarly: paper, plaster, worn wood and stone in soft natural light, with a restrained warm palette.

No people or animals
Illustrations and generated images show no people, faces, hands or silhouettes, and no animals or birds.
Never depict Allah, angels or Paradise
Not as figures, and not as beams of light standing in for them.
No mosques or minarets
Leave out mosques, domes, minarets, shrines and lanterns, including their silhouettes.
No symbols of any faith
Generated images carry no symbol of any faith: no crescent and star, no cross, no stained glass.
Only real Arabic
Generated images carry no letters or calligraphy. Arabic goes on as type, and only text someone has checked.
No verse underfoot
A verse or a divine name never goes on anything walked on, such as floors or sand.
